Arise and shine, mighty warrior bride!!
Bible passage:
Isaiah 60:1-5 KJV
[1] Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. [2] For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. [3] And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. [4] Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side. [5] Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.
I want to speak to you as the Lord's bride and tell you that it's your time to shine bright with the glory of God as the people in the world are waiting for you and me to reveal ourselves in all our brightness! It's time to arise and shine, mighty warrior bride of Christ! I believe this afternoon will be a time of refreshing, refiring, redefining, refocusing, and fixing our eyes on Jesus the bridegroom who wants His bride to stand up and be a light in the darkness and be the change the world is looking for!
A new creation means that we no longer live for ourselves, but are created to be a new man. Our old life doesn't matter anymore. We are called into a new life with Christ! As a bride of Christ we need to stop operating out of our old habits, but start being the new creation by maturing ourselves in Christ.
We are crucified with Christ which means that our old life is dead. As soon as we made a decision for Jesus and started the journey of discipleship and living in relationship with the Father, it's no longer me, myself and I, but it's God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit! Even though we still live in our earthly bodies, we live by faith in Jesus, who unconditionally loves us and gave His life to set us free from ourselves and our sickness and addictions.
To be His workmanship means we are made in the image of the Father, meaning that He has made us perfect in Him, meaning we are made to do good works, meaning He has prepared us for His service even before we were born in our mother's womb.
Wow! We are citizens of heaven. Imagine that! We might live in the world, but we are not from this world! We have our citizenship in heavenly places alongside the Father, that means we have access to all that He has for us.
We need the empowerment of the Holy Ghost to be effective witnesses for Jesus! To be a warrior bride of Christ, it's vital to be empowered and equipped with not just the word of God, but also the baptism of the Holy Ghost and fire. The fire of God will consume every part of your life and mark you for the task ahead of you to stand on the frontline of God's army.
Another word for power = Dunamis.
Dunamis means you receive supernatural power and abilities to perform miracles, signs and wonders for Jesus! Dunamis is another word for dynamite, dynamo and dynamic.
The synonyms of it are also strength, capacity, ability, potency, force, might, capability and many others.
All the disciples prayed in the upper room until the place they were gathered in was shaken and the Holy Ghost swept into the upper room and everyone was filled with the Holy Ghost. As a warrior bride we are called to intercession. Praying without ceasing and I believe the Lord wants to fill us once again with fresh boldness to speak the truth of the Gospel into our nation. We need a warrior bride shaken to go out in boldness with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
John was a forerunner for Jesus! John baptised people for repentance of sins, but Jesus baptizes us with the Holy Ghost and fire! As a bride of Christ we need to be filled daily with the fire of God to keep our lamp lit up. This means spending time in the secret place with the Father, letting Him into the darkest places in your earthly home to consume everything out of you that doesn't belong there in order for Him to fill us up with all that He has for us.
Are you weak? Are you tired? Are you weary? Are you exhausted? Know that the spirit of God helps you in your weakness. We don't have to try and do things on our own! As a warrior bride we need to know that we have God's spirit on our side who intercedes for us.
Scripture is clear that in the presence of God there is fullness of joy, so if need the fullness of the joy that is being spoken about here, we have to be spending time in the presence which means studying the word, being in a place where you will hear His voice and know what He's saying to you. He will make known to you the path to take as long as you are in Him and He in you.
Know who you and whose you are
2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
[17] Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
A new creation means that we no longer live for ourselves, but are created to be a new man. Our old life doesn't matter anymore. We are called into a new life with Christ! As a bride of Christ we need to stop operating out of our old habits, but start being the new creation by maturing ourselves in Christ. [17] Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Galatians 2:20 KJV
[20] I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Ephesians 2:10 KJV
[10] For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
To be His workmanship means we are made in the image of the Father, meaning that He has made us perfect in Him, meaning we are made to do good works, meaning He has prepared us for His service even before we were born in our mother's womb.
Philippians 3:20 KJV
[20] For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Wow! We are citizens of heaven. Imagine that! We might live in the world, but we are not from this world! We have our citizenship in heavenly places alongside the Father, that means we have access to all that He has for us.
Being filled with the Holy Ghost
Acts 1:8 KJV
[8] But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Dunamis means you receive supernatural power and abilities to perform miracles, signs and wonders for Jesus! Dunamis is another word for dynamite, dynamo and dynamic.
The synonyms of it are also strength, capacity, ability, potency, force, might, capability and many others.
The warrior bride is called to be a bride full of the dunamis of God!
Acts 4:31 KJV
[31] And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
Matthew 3:11 KJV
[11] I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.
Romans 8:26 KJV
[26] Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Are you weak? Are you tired? Are you weary? Are you exhausted? Know that the spirit of God helps you in your weakness. We don't have to try and do things on our own! As a warrior bride we need to know that we have God's spirit on our side who intercedes for us.
Being filled with His presence
Psalm 16:11 KJV
[11] Thou wilt shew me the path of life: In thy presence is fulness of joy; At thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Exodus 33:14 KJV
[14] And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.
Being filled with His presence means that He will go with you wherever you go and He will give you the rest and peace you need to continue the race ahead of you. As a warrior bride of Christ I so believe it's vital we spend time in the presence of the ONE who refreshes us, gives us wisdom to make the right choices and also in His presence you will receive direction for life.
Being filled with His glory
Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
The Glory of the Lord has risen upon His people. We live in urgent times where we as a warrior bride are called to shine brighter and arise from our beauty sleep. We have no time to waste and certainly not to be a sleepy bride that goes with the masses, but goes against the masses, being obedient to her bridegroom Jesus. The Lord wants to pour out His glory over us.
The Glory brings healthy character, releases prosperity, gives us Jesus' personality, makes us stand out from the religious crowds and reveals us to the world as a morally holy and pure people towards the outside world.
Isaiah 60:[2] For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
We are made to shine the glory of God. He arises upon us, so with other words; His radiance, His majesty, His presence, His glory is in us, through us, on us and will be seen by the world.
Isaiah 60:[3] And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
Nations will come to you, kings will meet with you as you rise up as the warrior bride, seated in heavenly places with the Father, receiving instructions from Him and live in total surrender to the will of the ONE who sent you. We are made to influence society and I am calling you as a sold out bride of Christ to take your place in every sphere of influence to see them come into the light.
Isaiah 58:8 KJV
[8] Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.
