A word in season for the body of Christ
As I am spending time with the Lord in recent days, I started receiving three words which I felt strongly are three groups of people and three things that the Lord wants us to do this year.
The three words are visitation, preparation and activation. I saw three groups of people the Lord is speaking to this year and I will explain them one by one:
Visitation:
The Lord wants us to come back to a place of visitation. Many of us feel burnt out and are in a place of giving up their dreams, careers, faith life, marriages, and many other things as it's become to difficult for them to continue. Often it is because we do things in our own strength and think we can fix problems ourselves without having God involved in our everyday decisions we make. To these people the Lord wants to say: come and spend time with me. Like Mary, she chose the better place which was at the feet of Jesus. Stop trying to do everything on your own and start spending time in the presence of God. He wants to visit you in your secret place. This year is a year for refreshing, healing and visitation for those who are weary and burnt out. The Lord wants to give you fresh vision, bring your dreams back to life, restore your marriages, help you with your career, strengthen your faith life and much more as long as you create space to encounter Him in the secret place. This year will be a year for you to receive your deliverance and healing as you await His visitation. This year will be a year of revelation for you from the place of visitation.
The Lord is bringing some of you into a place of hiding, so that He can break off the old, making place for the new you and mold you to become the man and woman of God you are meant to be. In the place of visitation He is going to heal your broken heart and mend what has been bended.
The Burning Bush
Exodus 3:3-6 Now Moses was keeping the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of Midian, and he led his flock to the west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the wmountain of God. 2 And the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed. 3 And Moses said, “I will turn aside to see this great sight, why the bush is not burned.” 4 When the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, zGod called to him aout of the bush, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” 5 Then he said, “Do not come near; btake your sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.” 6 And he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for dhe was afraid to look at God.
Preparation:
In the place of visitation comes heavenly strategy. The Lord is giving people strategies in 2024 for their ministry, their business, their marriages, their careers and giving you visions and dreams to prepare you for an acceleration and He is preparing you for a massive blessing that will come your way to be a blessing to others. This year is a year for some of you to get ready to be launched out into your calling and for others it's your year to see even more fruit from the work your doing for the Lord then what you've seen in previous years. The Lord is preparing others to see a restoration happen in their marriages, relationships with family members and getting you ready for much fruit in your business.
Proverbs 24:27
Prepare your work outside; get everything ready for yourself in the field, and after that build your house.
Activation:
In the place of preparation comes activation. The Lord is calling those who have been in a season of preparation into their season of activation. There are those whom the Lord has been preparing in the secret place for a long time and the Lord is bringing you out of hiding and is activating you for great Kingdom exploits. This year is a year of activation. The Lord is about to activate an army of laid down lovers who will worship and pray on the streets of towns and cities to usher in a move of the Spirit like never seen before. This year is a year where the Lord wants to activate those who have never shared their faith with others before. The Lord wants to activate you this year in things that you never thought were possible, but with God everything is possible. The Lord wants to activate the sleeping giants of the faith in 2024. The Lord is going to activate spiritual gifts in people that have been dormant for many years.
Acts 1:8
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
